One of thee BEST tasting meals I've had since I moved to NH 8 yrs ago! lol I highly recommend the salmon, duck app, Caesar salad, French onion soup & desserts! Everything was amazing! The waitress was delightful & the atmosphere was fun!

Visiting the area - so glad we tried it out! The Asparagus Bisque is full of flavor and my cousin said the mussels were perfect. The scallops melted in my mouth and the homemade fettuccine was flavorful.
We've never regretted a meal a Bantam. The apps are amazing, and you can make a meal of those. They'll split an entree for you, which is a nice option.
We absolutely love this place!! If you find yourself anywhere in the southern tier of NH this place is probably less than a 40 minute drive and totally worth it! Located in an unassuming strip mall just outside downtown Peterborough, Bantam always offers something for every taste and kids as well. The difference from most other family friendly restaurants is how they elevate everything they make from ordinary to extraordinary! Their signature dish, Bantam Chicken is always a great choice but the rest of their seasonal menu along with their specials make decisions very difficult. Their vegetarian options are created with a true love of the ingredients they use and are solid options for anyone. The bar makes some stunning cocktails and offers great wine and beer options as well. You will not be disappointed! Oh, and if you are looking for something more creative and new with the same attention to detail, they have an amazing pan Asian seafood restaurant, Pearl Restaurant & Oyster Bar, just two doors down! They are both busy during most nights Thursday - Saturday, so consider making a reservation...
I wish I could give them more than five stars! The food was top notch, the service excellent, and the atmosphere clean and well thought out.
